Parking

The court does not provide for parking. There are a number of parking lots available both public and private. There are also some parking meters; however, the 2-hour time limit and heavy demand make them impractical.

Lot parking rates range from $8.00 to $17.50 and up for all day parking. The closest public parking is the Ford Auditorium underground garage, the cost is $15.00 for all day and it is directly across from the court tower. (The court tower is the taller of the two buildings that make up the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center) This lot is accessed from the median of Jefferson Avenue directly across from the Municipal Center. This lot does fill quickly so it is wise to arrive early or have a secondary lot.
